There has been this craze about boots for awhile now. Personally, I am a fan of Dr. Martens as compared to other brands like Red Wing or Timberland. Perhaps it's because I think it has more of a feminine touch as compared to the others. And not all girls suit boots that seem too masculine. Having just a pair never seems to be enough for me. Call me greedy, but I wish to have a whole collection of different colours!

Prior to the earlier post about Asian models where I have mentioned Tao Okamoto. I have decided to find more of her pictures as her style is amazing. She's definitely a trend-setter and people recognize her for it. Look at how her popular her bowl-cut hairstyle is now. It's not exactly a hairstyle that suits everybody but she flawlessly carried it well enough. It's amazing how she is still able to look so stylist even when she wears basic clothings (e.g. t-shirt with cardigan and tights, basic tank top). Oh god, how envious I am of her!

Topman/ Topshop We Are 1 Ion Ochard Party

Last Friday, I attended Topman/ Topshop's We Are 1 Ion Orchard Party and it was an unbelievable experience for me. Frankly speaking, that was the first time I had the chance to be among the audience watching the models stroll down the runway. I am glad that I had the chance to!

Watching Topman/ Topshop A/W Collection showcase was a delight. Looking at the men's collection, I secretly wished that I would be able to fit into them nicely. It was with such great style and it looked rather comfortable. As it was the Autumn/ Winter collection, there was a lot of outerwear, boots and beanies involved. In the showcase for the, I realized most male models have their pants folded up, even for those who were wearing boots. The trend of folded pants seems to not be fading away soon.

In my point of view, the female collection was wild and bold - having faux fur coat and lotsa head wear. I was particularly in love with the layering for certain outfits and I can't wait to try it even though Singapore is a rather warm and humid country.

My two favourite outfits of the night, and Singapore's very own top model - Sheila Sim, who was one of the models for Topshop's collection.

Though not a hardcore fan of Abbey Lee Kershaw, I took more notice of her after seeing her in the Chanel Ad with Freja Beha. Her style, mainly dresses and leggings has this unique style of her own and it's not that typical. I guess it's true how people say "Fashion fades, style is eternal."

By chance, I saw this episode of ANTM Cycle 11 on TV and Analeigh Tipton caught my eyes. Pretty much typical, long blonde, sweet and cute looking with the sexy look at times. But it was her attitude in the competition that is most charming. Pretty much neutral and never in those bitchy fights. I thought she should have won that cycle though. A former skated turned model turned actress. We'll probably see her more on screens in the future.

I was having such great expectations and excitement when I was about to watch Taipei Exchanges (第36個故事) when I knew that 林辰唏 (仔仔) was in it. However, I would say the movie was kinda slow moving and dry. Perhaps it's not the kind of movie with the ups and downs and climax, instead it was pretty monotonous. But still, it was a good watch since my eyecandy is in it and I kinda like her dress sense in the movie.

Millennium Trilogy - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo

I have just finished watching The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (which will officially be out in Singapore on the 12th of August) and I must say I kinda like it though I had a hard time trying to catch up with the Chinese subtitles as the movie is in Swedish.

The female lead Noomi Rapace (as Lisbeth Salander) has been quite a hottie throughout the movie. I can't wait to watch the remaining of the trilogy!
